I lost my serial number or did not receive a registration email with my serial number!
If you have lost your serial number or have not received a registration e-mail within an hour of purchase use the form below to have your registration information sent to you.
If you have junk/spam mail filtering set up the e-mail may have been moved to your junk/spam folder.
Awaken does not wake my Mac at alarm time.
First please confirm that the "wake computer from sleep at alarm time" feature is enabled in the Awaken preferences.
If you still experience a problem, please follow the following steps:
- Quit Awaken
- Open the Finder and follow the following path:
Library > Preferences > SystemConfiguration and delete "com.apple.AutoWake.plist".
(You will be asked to enter your password to delete this file. A fresh copy of this file will be created by the system.)
- Open Awaken and create a new test alarm for at least 5 minutes in the future.
- Confirm that the "wake computer from sleep" Awaken preference is still enabled.
- Put your Mac to sleep via the Apple menu and wait for the 5 minutes to determine if the issue is corrected.
Awaken quits on startup or alarm does not function.
Open System Preferences to check if APE (Application Enhancer) is installed. If so, open the APE System Preference and add Awaken to its master exclude list. APE modifies running applications and can cause instabilities. By adding Awaken to its exclude list you exclude Awaken from any of these unsupported modifications.
